Coach Wiedmeier Headshot

After an extensive search and interview process, we are excited to announce Danielle Wiedmeier as our new Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach. Coach Wiedmeier is a former Division I Goalie having played for both Villanova University (’13) and The United States Naval Academy prior to that. She has coached lacrosse at the Club, High School & Collegiate levels for the past 8 years. Most recently Coach Wiedmeier served as an Assistant Coach at Baldwin Wallace University for the 2016-2017 season under Head Coach Kim Russell. She helped lead the Yellow Jackets to an OAC Championship appearance. The team earned several post season accolades including OAC Goalie of the Year.

Her wide range of responsibilities at all different levels of lacrosse have provided her with a skill set, vision and knowledge to effectively run the entire Magnificat Lacrosse program. Her ability to develop & maintain lasting relationships with her players and coaches speaks volumes about her commitment not only to those around her, but also to the mission of Magnificat High School.

Join us on Tuesday, July 18th @ 6pm in the Marian Commons at Magnificat High School for a “Meet & Greet” with our new coach. At this meeting, Coach Wiedmeier will provide details about her off-season plans as well as sharing her expectations & vision for Magnificat Lacrosse. This meeting is for both student-athletes & parents.
