Magnificat Gymnastics used a powerful performance on the vault to help secure its third consecutive runner-up finish at the OHSAA Gymnastics State Championships on March 7 at Hilliard Bradley High School in Columbus.
Competing against the best teams in the state, the Blue Streaks delivered a strong all-around performance, finishing the meet with a team score of 145.200. The total was highlighted by an impressive rotation on the vault, where the Blue Streaks posted some of their highest scores of the afternoon.
Magnificat remained consistent throughout the competition, turning in solid routines across all four events — vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise — to stay among the top teams in Ohio. The balanced effort allowed the Blue Streaks to maintain their place near the top of the standings throughout the meet.
The runner-up finish marks the third straight year Magnificat has finished second at the state meet, continuing a stretch of sustained success for the program on Ohio’s biggest stage.
With strong performances across the lineup and another podium finish, the Blue Streaks once again demonstrated why they remain one of the premier gymnastics programs in the state.
