Gymnastics Wins District Title And Advances To State Meet

The Magnificat High School gymnastics team captured the OHSAA District Championship on March 1 at Hudson High School, holding off a strong team from Strongsville High School to secure the title with a team score of 143.100.

The Blue Streaks now advance to the OHSAA State Gymnastics Meet, set for Saturday, March 7 at Hilliard Bradley High School in Columbus.

On the individual side, three athletes will compete at the State Meet on Sunday, March 8, also in Columbus:

Molly Francis '27 - Balance Beam, Floor Exercise, Uneven Parallel Bars, Vault & All-Around

Chloe Bibbo '27 - Vault

Lyla Sanuk '28 - Vault

Isabella Moran '28 - Floor Exercise (Alternate)

Francis delivered an outstanding performance at Districts, winning three of the four events and earning the title of All-Around District Champion.
