Varsity Softball Tops Saint Joseph Academy To Open Season

Magnificat Varsity Softball opened their season on Tuesday, March 24th with a 17-6 victory over rival Saint Joseph Academy.

The game took place at Victory Sports Park.

The Blue Streaks were led by junior Haley Wheeler who drove in 6 runs and hit 2 home runs on the evening.

Magnificat piled up 17 hits in the contest.

Senior Marylynn Kennedy tossed 4 innings for the Blue Streaks to earn the win.
